Welcome New Graduate Assistant, Prashiddhi Pokhrel!

We are excited to welcome Prashiddhi Pokhrel to the FWC team as our Economic Vitality Graduate Assistant. She will be working with us to support the small businesses and economic development of the Corner.

Prashiddhi is a student at University of Southern Maine pursuing a Master’s degree in Statistics. She has always been fascinated with the world of numbers and data, which led her to dive into the realm of statistics and its applications. With a strong desire to make a difference, she has a particular interest in helping small businesses harness their resources effectively. She believes that empowering local businesses through data-driven insights can lead to sustainable growth, economic prosperity, and job opportunities for the community. Beyond academic pursuits, Prashiddhi is an ardent advocate for the concept of walkable cities and accessible transportation for all.

When not at work, Prashiddhi loves to read books, and enjoys singing and gathering with friends to create musical memories. As an aspiring artist, she also enjoys acrylic and gouache painting and finds inspiration in magical landscapes around the world.
