SAVE THE DATE: The 2025 Woodfords Community Garden Tour is June 7th!

Interested in Participating as a 2025 Garden Tour Location?

As we plan the 5th Annual Woodfords Community Garden Tour, we’re on the lookout for gardeners who would like to participate in the tour by opening their gardens for viewing that day. If you’d be interested in being a stop on the tour, complete our interest form here: woodfordscorner.org/gardens
Please note: once we’ve learned of all the gardeners interested in participating, we’ll select 10-12 for the 2025 tour. We base this on proximity, diversity of garden types, annual rotation of tour stops, etc. (So, even if you don’t end up on the 2025 tour, we may reach out again in the future!)

2024 Garden Tour

4th Annual Community Garden Tour

With your help, we were able to raise funds to support the Friends of Woodfords Corner and Gateway Community Services Maine, showcase some incredible gardens in the Woodfords area, and bring together community members from near and far to enjoy our neighborhood! We hope to see you all again in 2025!

2023 Garden Tour

3rd Annual Community Garden Tour

Many thanks to all the gardeners, volunteers, and guests who made the 2023 Woodfords Community Garden Tour a sweet success. We had over 250 guests (we lost count, actually!) who strolled the streets to ten private gardens and two pocket parks. We raised a significant amount for the operating funds of Friends of Woodfords Corner to keep all our initiatives going. We shared your donations with with Stages Youth Theater, a non-profit organization for kids in the performing arts located right in the Corner.

2022 Garden Tour

2nd Annual Community Garden Tour a Wild Success!

On June 11, Woodfords Corner welcomed hundreds of garden enthusiasts from near and far to our 2022 Community Garden Tour. The event benefitted Friends of Woodfords Corner (once again serving as our largest annual fundraising event), and A Company of Girls, one our cherished local nonprofit organizations whose mission is to strengthen and empower girls and their families and foster community through the arts

2021 Garden Tour

The first annual garden tour was a great success!

On June 26, over 150 garden enthusiasts came out to enjoy gardens throughout the Woodfords Corner community, and support the Friends of Woodfords Corner and the Center for Grieving Children. The event showcased 12 gardens of varying sizes, with hundreds of plant species on display. Artists and musicians shared their wares and music, and attendees visited with friends and neighbors from near and far.
