Since 2015 Friends of Woodfords Corner (FWC) has been working to support the local businesses that make the Corner a vibrant, bustling economic and community hub. With the support of our business community, FWC can work to:

• Build a "Revitalization Roadmap" for the Corner. The process, led by professional consultants, includes visioning, assessment, public input, and recommendations of short- and long-term goals that are impactful and low- or no-cost to implement.

• Engage a USM Muskie School graduate assistant to conduct business needs surveys that help FWC prioritize initiatives and activities that are most wanted by and best serve area businesses.

• Expand our events and initiatives to amplify and celebrate the Corner, bring our community together, and encourage the patronage of area businesses.

• Showcase Woodfords Corner businesses through our social media, website, monthly e-news, and blog posts.

• Publicize businesses’ events and happenings through our online events calendar.

• Increase our advocacy efforts to improve sidewalks, infrastructure, and transportation accessibility in the Corner.

• Welcome, inform, and support business owners who are considering locating their business in the Corner, helping to fill storefronts and make Woodfords Corner a prime destination for nearby patrons and those from afar.
