The Woodfords Corner Farmers Market Returns for 2nd Year
Building on last year’s success, the Woodfords Corner Farmers Market (WCFM) opens Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 3:30pm in Portland.
This year, FWC is doubling down on the market’s community feel. Live music, ‘spotlight’ organizations, food trucks, and games will be returning in the market’s second season, but with tables and more seating available. Additional community activities will be sprinkled in throughout the season.

Vendors
The Woodfords Corner Farmers Market will have a variety of local vendors selling meat, eggs, goat cheese, Maine-grown produce, and more! We’ll also have a rotation of sweet and savory prepared foods, including ice cream and empanads.

Corner Cash
We want everyone to be able to access fresh, local food! Throughout the market season, Corner Cash will be offered to the first 50 shoppers from one of four different groups to spend at the market. This summer, we’re celebrating kids, college students, seniors, and veterans EVERY WEEK!
To claim you Corner Cash, just stop by the market booth! These vouchers will be redeemable at any WCFM vendor throughout the market season. We are grateful to a generous neighbor for making this possible!
Shop Around the World with Natural Helpers
FWC is teaming up with the Natural Helpers program, housed in the city’s Office of Economic Opportunity, to tie in local businesses and encourage shoppers to patronize the neighborhood’s many international grocery markets.
Over the market season, the Natural Helpers will be showcasing three of our local grocers and sharing stories, recipes, and tasty snacks. Be sure to stop by our Spotlight Tent to learn about these grocers, and other local organizations, throughout the summer!

Volunteers help setup/take down market infrastructure and provide support to vendors and shoppers from the Market Info Tent. Sign up for one shift or every shift this year!

Surveys of our neighbors indicate that residents want a hyper-local farmers market and we believe there is enough density, traffic, and interest to support a local market. Over 9,000 people live within walking distance and over 20,000 cars pass through Woodfords Corner each day.
