A splendid neighborhood stroll: Woodfords Community Garden Tour 2023

Many thanks to all the gardeners, volunteers, and guests who made the 2023 Woodfords Community Garden Tour a sweet success. We had over 250 guests (we lost count, actually!) who strolled the streets to ten private gardens and two pocket parks, Trinity Park and Debby’s Garden at Temple Beth El. We raised a significant amount for the operating funds of Friends of Woodfords Corner to keep all our initiatives going. As has become our tradition, we shared your donations with with Stages Youth Theater, a non-profit organization for kids in the performing arts located right in the Corner. A special thank you to Maddy and her friend Elliot, who developed and ran a lemonade stand along the route and raised $62 for the cause!
