The Second Annual “Halloween Fire Prevention Festival” is Saturday, October 27 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Longfellow Park, with American Red Cross “Halloween Blood Drive” from 11:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Portland Community Squash, 66 Noyes Street co-hosted by the University Neighborhood Organization, Portland Fire Fighters Local 740, Portland Fire Department, Phi Mu Delta Fraternity & Kappa Delta Phi NAS Sorority at USM.

Keith Gautreau, Chief, Portland Fire Dept., says, “This is a great event held in one of our densely populated neighborhoods that allows us to educate the public on fire safety and prevention. I see this as an opportunity for collaboration with other agencies to interact with the community and focus on public safety and risk reduction."
