Saturday, Nov. 20th: The Woodfords Downeast Fair

Woodfords Congregational Church will hold their Downeast Fair on Saturday, Nov 20th from 9am-1pm

The fair is coming back to the church this year! It's time to drop off your contributions...

Books: Hardcover and paperback fiction and non-fiction for adults, teens and children in good condition. However, NO textbooks, encyclopedia or out-of-date reference books, Bibles or hymnals, pamphlets or magazines, or books without covers or broken bindings.

Christmas items: Accepting gently used holiday decorations such as ornaments, wreaths, figurines and candles, as well as holiday table linens, unused boxed Christmas cards, etc. Please make sure items that operate with a plug or on batteries are in working condition.

Attic treasures and jewelry: Accepting all kinds of gently used jewelry, including watches if they are in working order. For attic treasures, acceptable items include framed artwork, fine or vintage china, serveware and glassware (no everyday household dishes, paper goods or plastic containers), furniture pieces that can be easily transported by one person, unused bedding and gently used table linens and decorative pieces.

Items may be dropped off in Memorial Hall by the stage beginning at 9:30am before church and immediately after church services on Oct. 24, Oct. 31, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14. Someone from the fair committee will be there to receive the items. Please do not drop off items at other times or when no one from the committee is there. We will set up additional daytime drop off times between now and Nov. 14, so please watch the announcements for more information.
