BCNA welcomes Gretchen Stanton New President

Gretchen H. Stanton has become the new Back Cove Neighborhood Association (BCNA) president. Gretchen moved to Portland in 2016, after more than 30 years of work with the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. She was born in Sinaloa, Mexico, and grew up in Tucson, Arizona. After traveling the world, she and her husband, Ray, searched around the USA for a place to retire. When they got to Portland, she says, it was “love at first sight” – with the beauty of the location, the size of the city, its rich cultural environment, year-round outdoor activities, and friendly people. She hopes that more neighbors will join the BCNA to work together on issues that affect the neighborhood. Gretchen can be reached at info@BackCovePortland.org or via facebook.com/BackCoveNA
