There are two recent articles in the Portland Forecaster that really speak to the need for all of us to be working toward a safe and walkable neighborhood. City Sidewalks and Spike in Pedestrian Fatalities focus on the challenges to keeping pedestrians out of the way of traffic and safely on the sidewalks all over the city and state.
