Trinity Park Refresh continues
Did you know that Woodfords Corner has a city park?
It's the small triangle park in front of Trinity Church that has a fountain.
Most folks in the area thought this was Church property and while the congregation has taken care of the gardens for decades, the property is actually public space.
There is a very active committee that has been working behind the scenes as well as in the dirt to revitalize the park as a neighborhood space. The committee is a partnership of folks from Trinity Episcopal Church, Friends of Woodfords Corner, Trinity Day School and the City of Portland, and some very generous neighbors. Lewis Brothers Landscaping, owned by our neighbor and committee member Peter Lewis, has been donating materials and his crew to help us get the park ready for next steps.
Please take some time and walk around the park and think about how you'd want the space to be used. Keep you eyes on the changes as they unfold.
