23 Ocean Avenue

Steven and Bobbi Cope, and their son Adam Cope (all life-long residents of the neighborhood) are the developers of a residential and commercial property at 19 Ocean Avenue, located at the corner of Hersey Street and Ocean Avenue.

The project includes four, two-bedroom, two bathroom residential condominium units on the second and third floors and nine first class office spaces on the first floor and basement levels. Two of the residential units will be fully handicapped accessible with access provided by lift.

The project incorporates the adjacent office building at 23 Ocean Avenue where Steven’s law practice, Cope Law Firm, maintains its office along with other professional business tenants. Steven, Bobbi and Adam’s development company, Concord Properties, Inc., will also maintain an office in the new building.

All of the residences have panoramic views of “The Corner.” The Odd Fellows clock tower and Congregational Church steeple are beautiful, prominent features, not to mention the Highlands. Just seeing all of the activity from a bird’s eye view gives a new appreciation for our wonderful neighborhood. The residential units also share a roof top deck that is even more amazing. One can see the city skyline and even a few glimpses of Back Cove.

Construction has been a long process and they are nearing completion. Site work and interior finish are nearly done. Occupancy is expected to be available around September 1.

The residential marketing is underway with the brokerage being handled by Ben Schulz of Vitalius Real Estate Group. Ben may be reached by cell at 207.253.9372 or by email: Ben@vitalius.com.

The offices will be leased individually or in groups. For information about office space, you may contact Adam Cope at 207.939-3326 or by email: adcope1@yahoo.com.
