Thank you for a wonderful Garden Tour

We had a warm sunny day for the 6th Annual Woodfords Garden Tour! It was a lovely day of community, connection, and gardens. A big thank you to Benchmark Real Estate who sponsored the Woodfords Community Garden Tour again this year. Thank you to our other sponsor, East End Corp. We are so lucky to have such wonderful neighbors!

Thanks to your generous donations we were able to give a hefty cash donation to the Locker Project at Ocean Ave Elementary School. Thank you to everyone who came out, walked the corner and enjoyed some gorgeous garden viewing!

This event was part of a new Street Squad initiative organized by the Green, Clean & Sustainable team. The Street Squad meets periodically to tackle small projects and beautify the neighborhood. Read all about it here.

Walkable Woodfords Corner

Meet Sophia, this year's summer intern for Friends of Woodfords Corner. She is heading into her senior year as an economics major at the University of Southern Maine.
