April 13: Hold on Tight at Birth Roots
Sunday, April 13, 9:30 - 11:00am
Birth Roots, 16 Vannah Ave, 1st Floor, Portland
Many parents have revealed that they are feeling drained, disoriented, or even dissociated as a result of the daily avalanche of intense uncertainty and heightened chaos. Parents are describing themelves as overwhelmed and underwater. Particularly when children are preverbal, or newly verbal, or do not yet have a full emotional vocabulary, we need more developmentally-specific skills for responding to their emotional dysregulation, as well as our own.
Birth Roots programs facilitate the conditions necessary for Flocks to take form. But what if Flocks knew how to hold on a little tighter through rougher seas?
Hold On TIght is a chance for parents to become more skilled and equipped to generate greater relational resource.
