Welcome Sophia Ibarguen, USM Career Exploration Intern

FWC is excited to welcome Sophia Ibarguen as our 2026 USM Career Exploration summer intern. The Career Exploration Internship Program is a paid program hosted by the Career & Employment Hub. These internships allow students to directly apply their classroom learning and build on-the-job skills in a professional setting. University of Southern Maine student interns gain valuable workplace experience and make connections in their field. Sophia is studying economics and is learning about management and organization in a grassroots Main Street America/Maine Downtown Center community development program (that’s FWC!). She will be participating in all teams, working events, and completing projects such as updating our district business inventory. Welcome Sophia!
