2025 FWC Annual Appeal

2025 has been a tumultuous year for the nation and the world. At times it can feel overwhelming to know where to put our energy, passion, time, and dollars. We can’t fix the whole world, but we can work to make our neighborhood hub a place where all people feel safe, welcome, and connected.

Since Friends of Woodfords Corner began, people have been at the heart of this organization—neighbors helping neighbors, finding connection through serving our community, and making this place not just a corridor to drive through, but a place that is well worth the walk.

Thank you Vonnett!

Vonnett has been an FWC board member for 6 years and we want to send a big thank you for her service. She has been a tireless champion of the Woodfords Corner neighborhood is a natural connector who is always seeking out opportunities for neighbors to contribute.

While we will miss her at the board level, we’re excited and grateful that she will continue on the Green, Clean & Sustainable team going forward. She embodies our '“neighbor is a verb” tagline.

You can read more about Vonnett's contributions here. Thank you SO much Vonnett!
