Bikes Mean Business in Woodfords Corner
May is Bike Month! Time to tune up your ride, put some air in the tires, and hit all the streets, bike paths, and trails Portland has to offer. Whether you ride for pleasure, work, errands, or a little bit of everything, you always need secure bike parking wherever your destination is. With the aim of getting more of our community members on bikes, Friends of Woodfords Corner is launching a Bike Rack Bonanza to install more bike parking locations around the neighborhood! Bikes mean business for Woodfords Corner; Increasing the number of safe, convenient bike parking locations in the neighborhood makes the choice of biking to any local business or event easier, and helps shops & restaurants be more appealing to a larger group of potential customers.
Want to get involved? You can donate directly to the campaign here. We also will be seeking public input on new rack locations; you’ll be able to vote on where you want to see more bike parking soon, so keep an eye out for more communications on this campaign, and we will see you (and your bike) on the Corner!
