There is now LIGHT in Woodfords Corner!

Advocating for street changes requires endurance and patience! FWC has been advocating for pedestrian scale street lights for four years but our wishes were finally granted in September when the City installed 8 new lights along the west side of Forest Ave. 

These lights serve many functions. They improve visibility for pedestrians navigating the sidewalks, especially during the icy season and increase pedestrians' feelings of safety at night. They add to the sense of place in the Corner--a vibrant exciting place that we all want to frequent.
