FWC Hosts Maine Downtown Center Affiliates Gathering

Last weekend, we hosted fellow Maine Downtown Center Affiliates from Lisbon, Bridgton, Old Town, and Ellsworth in Odd Fellows Hall to talk about what we’re doing in our neighborhoods.

FWC shared a presentation on how we launched our farmers market, and our experience running it. Ross, from Lisbon, gave an exciting presentation on creating experiential downtowns, striking up thoughtful conversations on how small, downtown businesses are adapting to new needs.

Throughout the day, representatives from each downtown shared ideas and were able to learn from each others unique perspective.

The day ended with a tour of the “heart” of Woodfords Corner, where we showed off what makes our neighborhood so special.
