Friends of Trinity Park - Fall efforts, Spring gifts

On Saturday, November 13th, the Friends of Trinity Park will be holding the Fall cleanup! A message from organizer, Davis Hartwell: "'I'll have some coffee and refreshments available. Bring your own tools if you have them; I'll have some extras if you don't. (If you're reasonably sure you can make it, please let me know so I have a rough idea of numbers, but don't feel you need to RSVP in advance. You're welcome to come at the last minute.) The Trinity Park Garden has done great this year—and is still doing well—thanks to all who have been a part of it. This beauty just bloomed (finally in mid-October!). "Bishop of Llandaff" has a distinguished pedigree in the dahlia world. See Wikipedia or Gardenia.net. I started it late from a shriveled up tuber that I salvaged from last year's plant in my garden at home. It took a long time to get going. I hope to get better tubers and an earlier start next year. In addition to the beautiful bloom it has unusual and attractive dark foliage."

Our efforts now will help to make the park bloom even more beautiful come Spring 2022!
